In 2008, Buy Local Greater Kalamazoo was formed out of an interest on the part of independent local business owners and consumers to have a way to distinguish businesses that help to support the local economy and promote local businesses. Put simply, we exist in order to build awareness of the benefits of supporting local independent businesses through marketing efforts and resources made available to our members.
